Lena Sachsenmaier
Research Interests
I am interested in understanding biodiversity-ecosystem-functioning relationships in forests and agroforestry systems in order to support sustainable management and conservation strategies – particularly in the challenging context of climate change. In my ongoing research projects, I am investigating the drought resistance and resilience of tree communities and neighbourhoods in a tree diversity experiment in Germany (MyDiv) within the framework of the DFG International Research Training Group TreeDì - 林地 at the German Centre for Integrative Biodiversity Research (iDiv) Halle-Jena-Leipzig.
