Information on available scholarships is important to those who are planning a PhD. To inform prospective doctoral researchers about the conditions of the scholarship programme of the German Federal Environmental Foundation (DBU), the graduate school yDiv and the DBU are organizing an information meeting in Leipzig. Every year, the DBU awards 60 doctoral scholarships to young scientists of all disciplines to conduct advanced research work in the field of environmental protection. During the event, the coordinator of the DBU doctoral scholarship programme, Dr. Hedda Schlegel-Starmann, will talk about the guidelines to applicants and the scholarship programme. Also, two doctoral researchers who are currently working on their DBU scholarships, Bettina Ohse and Babett Arnold, will share their experiences and answer any questions.
The event will take place on
November 13, from 3:00 to 4:00am in the lecture hall of the
BIO CITY LEIPZIG (Deutscher Platz 5, 04103 Leipzig).
The event is open to all interested parties.
