Prof. Ian T. Baldwin elevated to the rank of AAAS Fellow

The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) has awarded the distinction of Fellow to Ian T. Baldwin, director at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Ecology and member of iDiv. He has been elevated to this rank for stellar contributions to the understanding of plant mechanisms for resisting and tolerating herbivory by integrating advanced molecular biology into the study of ecological interactions. During the 2017 AAAS Annual Meeting in Boston on February 18, 2017, the new fellows will receive an official certificate along with a gold and blue rosette pin. The AAAS is the world's largest scientific society. It was founded in Pennsylvania in 1848. Since 1880, AAAS has been publishing the journal
